Interest rates are a topic that affect almost all of us.

Self funded retirees are doing it tough because interest rates are so low. Home Buyers are having a dream run for the same reason. May be there are problems in Sydney and Melbourne but I don’t see any problems in the South East Queensland housing market. There has been steady improvement over the last year or two following a trough of several years.

It is time that South East Queensland had its place in the sun. With any luck the Reserve Bank policy of keeping rates steady will enable us to do so.
